FAQ
What about the quality of our 100% concrete's furniture ?
On the market, you’ll find more and more of furnitures «concrete way». It is most frequently products based of resin, with the sensation of touch plastic. Some others simply apply a finish “imitation concrete” on a wood or medium structure. No guarantee for outdoor and no emotion in the touch. Our furniture is 100% concrete. It is hand made. We have given careful attention to the finishing of our products. Although they are made of concrete, it is none the less furniture on which you are going to eat, put your hi-fi equipment, share a drink, put your books… furniture on which your kids will play, draw. We are not manufacturers of concrete that we would launched into the furniture. We are designers who work movable concrete. And this is an important distinction! This is a fiber – lightweight concrete (less than 2 tonnes per m3). Its structure is reinforced by a steel frame. Based from natural materials (cement, sand, water, steel fibers), it is made by hand and finished in a succession of steps carefully developed. Pores, micro-cracks, possible variations in color are inherent in the material used and its application in industrial work. They give your furniture charm and its unique appearance.
